October's Country of the Month: Scotland

After learning about Scotland, we get to be Scottish boys and girls for a day at school. Thanks to Jenny (Tanner's mom) for bringing a kilt - a traditional garment of Modern Scottish culture.

Our Pumpkins

We brought pumpkins for us to use during our Pumpkin unit. We did some measurements by weighing them, checking how tall they are using unifix cubes, and checking the circumference using yarn. We also did size seriation arranging them in order from smallest to largest. Check out these pictures!
